This campus with its diversity in learning for life makes me almost wish to be young again!! I wonder if every student is aware of the great privilege he/she has to study under such outstanding caliber of tutors!? Praise the Lord for this seminary! I associate the name Masters University with reliable Biblical teaching. In South Africa we face many challenges regarding sound Biblical teaching. We do not have solid sola five reformed churches here in the back country or (klein dorpies) small towns. We are surrounded by some of the most idiotic heresies imaginable and the avrage Christian here are running around blowing shofars and locking so called gateways of towns and cities. So John McArthurs sermons, Steve Lawson (I have a special place in my heart for this man), R. C. Sproul and everyone else who preach at their events have become my university training. Like seriously you dont realise how this simple Afrikaans speaking back country guys life has been radically reformed by your ministries. So much so that my mind has literally shifted from thinking in Afrikaans to thinking and reasoning in English due to so many years of listening to solid challenging expository sermons. I have a leather bound Reformation Study Bible which is my most valuable possessions apart from Christ Himself my hope of eternal glory. But with all of this has come a terrible price to pay and that is that I have become strange and awkward to people in my culture. I am too technical, wanting to go too deep, making the Gospel more complicated than it should be. Some do listen and experience the same reforming of their minds when seeing scripture in its intended context, praise God for this. Your hard work spilled over into my country and our Lord Jesus Christ, sovereign King and Majestic Author of my salvation is using it to accomplish His good will in my life and many others. Hey, maybe some of you educated people can become missionary reformed church planters in South Africa. I am seeing all the more how peoples faith is falling apart, because after so many years of empty prophesies, ineffectual declarations and a making up our theology as we go allong, they suffer from chronic inflammation in their commen sense. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. But they too face a type of cancel culture should they dare voice their doubts. We need a flood of Holy Spirit filled Bible expository "evangelistically" passionate, dissipel making Shepherds and teachers. We have a few but we need more.

Very envious of a university like TMU while living here in the UK. We have some great theological colleges but nothing that speaks to other vocations. Maybe one day God willing I will be able to say my children will have the opportunity to go to a Christian university.

In an imaginary alternate universe, if God gave me another chance to relive my past 3 years of my life and if I grew up in a Christian home, I would've chosen to come here for my Bachelors. :( Seeing how TMU loves the Lord and a great place to grow in spiritual faith makes me jealous (I know that's a sin sorry). But thank Lord for Dr. John MacArthur and TMU!
