Roger is even more generous in his play here not to humiliate Robin. He could’ve bageled Robin all the way.

LOL! I remember reading a few years ago that Haase used to hit with Roger at lot at tournaments so this is hilarious.

Narrator says, “Even on a slow clay court, Fed was able to frustrate his opponent.” Have we already forgotten he was the 2nd best clay court player for many years, with 5 French finals? Against a guy who I don’t think ever won a title.

True, but Federer never really enjoyed playing on clay. So you rarely could see him fully committed during those matches, unlike on faster surfaces such as grass and synthetic, where he really shone.
@markoshun24 күн бұрын
@@sergiogiacomosammartano7623 Not according to Roger. He grew up on clay and said he likes it. He has 11 titles on clay and would probably have another couple Frenches but for Nadal. He's also beaten both Nadal and Djokovic on clay.. and for at least 5 years he was easily the second best clay courter. What do you mean by not fully committed? Just not as good?

Not that cruel if you ask me, but kind of relax victory for Fed.
