you can get both if you have saved up. there is an upcoming snow queen boss fight even with the same amount of snow balls.

I purchased 20 silver boxes, since the update i have only aquired 1 average tier 8 i have also aquired about 25Yule boxes 45-50chests all up, i did not recieve a single mystic warchest! It keeps giving me low tier tanks i already have 2d commanders, melting snowballs 😢😢 At this rate I might as well hit the pokies 😅

It's quite insidious....ain't it? I wager they NEVER thought that anyone would show just how diabolical their formula was. Typical of the criminal mindset. Thanks!

I didn’t mind buying the General’s chests once a month, I usually made my gold back + goodies I wanted like free XP and boosts. Every now and then a duplicate premium would boost my gold to spend on other things I might want. I tried the Ice Queen chests, 30 of them, figured a chance to get that new fully unlocked commander plus my gold back, the gold payout was definitely the lowest of any I’ve ever gotten but I did luck out and on number 27 got the ultimate ice queen and a boatload of 2d duplicates that I sold for silver. Overall didn’t feel the 30 was a good value even with the ice queen. I liked it better just buying them, like when I wanted Cobra Commander, just spend gold to get what I want directly.
