Looks like Mr. Veff convex the edge , Matt Easton was saying it was 1095 hc ,but he did say he was not exactly certain for sure , but he believed it was a high carbon steel because of his diamond sharping tool test.

It's a very standard design. You can buy blade blanks online and fit the handle yourself. It's a great way to get into knife making. Its not identical to what you'll fine but that's nothing a good file can't fix.

Pakistan is barely a country. It's a state held hostage by a corrupt military with fundamentalist factions within. The people who make these knives aren't harboring terrorists nor are they enriching the coffers of the army and intelligence officers that so. They're good, honest and VERY HARDWORKING people. The kind of working conditions that would make 1900s iron workers shake in their boots (Pakistanis use flip flops). Honest people trying to scrape by. Give them a break, dude. If I, an Indian, can say that, you don't need to be retarded.
