Another good one fellas. Will you be doing anything on the incoming portal players?
@BigRedJunkiesКүн бұрын
We will do more on incoming players in the coming weeks… But there is a show about the portal and the movement so far, coming out later today or tomorrow.

John Butler and Tony White initially not on the same page. Butler adjusting to Tony White 3-3-5 Tony White defense couldn’t create a pass rush on third down to help the secondary

How does former defensive back coach Evan Cooper wind up at Florida State with Tony White holy shit no !!!

NFL coaching expertise is huge. Callaahan beay our program dowm pretty good, but thats because he is not a good HC. I think the lure of the NFL and what the guys want to help them is what separates this staff from that one and even Pelini's....

@@BigRedJunkies horrible decision in friends and baseball teams

Sounds like excuses for Matt decision. The truth is that he was already given that job before the announcement was made. Stop making up narratives.

There's no way any of us will know if that is in fact the truth... That's actually a made up narrative... Lol

@@BigRedJunkies nice try buddy , The man said he watch Butler in practice and he’s comfortable with and he like the 3-3-5. He also mentioned he didn’t want to change what they have going on. Bro the writing was on the wall. He told everyone without saying it clear. He sent out a smokescreen about interviews with p5 coaches. Like I said last week, it’s Matt’s friend and he will be the DC. Matt is so predictable 😂😂😂
@BigRedJunkies23 сағат бұрын
@ I disagree with the friend part. They weren’t friends prior to him bringing him on staff last year. They had only met once prior to talking about him coming in. Also, to BJ’s point, if he was still in Buffalo coaching DBs right now, and he was the guy, wouldn’t you be excited. Wouldn’t you call this a slam dunk hire?
@jesusrivera74315 сағат бұрын
For the 3-3-5 to be effective you need speed and sure tackling.

Matt Rhule sucks he is 2 years late on the portal. And now he is starting over. Guess coach Prime was ahead of his time
@BigRedJunkiesКүн бұрын
I think if you take off the first three words, you aren’t incorrect on most of it… Don’t think it means he sucks, but him and nearly every other coach/program is looking at the portal differently this year than they have in the past. A lot of that has to do with having to get down to the 105.

🙄 Sure, 😆 Short term mindset always works. Coach prime would be great in the big ten 🤣 Matt Rhule isn't late. He wanted to do things tge right way. Initially. But this stuff is changing so fast. If anything he is ahead of the curve because he realized how fast this is changing. Promise you if Pelini or frost was still coaching right meow. They wouldn't be as malleable as Rhule from his Initial position as he's been. I give him props for his awareness and embracing what is truly awful. The portal.

Looking at doing a show about this after the bowl game. About a lot of the stuff that has been talked about with how Belichick envisions the new landscape of the HC job in CFB. If you remember, he spent 5 hours chatting up our coaching staff and exchanging ideas. Since then we've seen Rhule make some moves that are positioning the program exactly the way BB laid out for UNC. Going to dive more in before we have that conversation, but it's an interesting convo.
@jdchatelain222Күн бұрын
@@BigRedJunkies And we forget the roomers that BB was going to be the DC, lol. How great would that have been, lol. I like what Rhule is doing while trying to change on the fly. And he's not wrong. This job is a juggernaut! Bigger than a pro job. And people miss that reality I think. So those two boys (Rhule & BB) are definitely leaning on each other as college fb has turned into what it has. Unfortunately. It may become bigger than the NFL 🤷
@BigRedJunkiesКүн бұрын
@@jdchatelain222 only time will tell, but BB specifically talked about his experiences as both HC and GM while in New England, and how this job has more than what he was trying to juggle then. That’s saying a lot for arguably the greatest to ever do it. Add to that a comment like what Rhule made yesterday, when he said there’s frequently days he doesn’t get to “do any football” at all. That’s wild to think about, especially when contrasted to a TO 30 years ago, who was OC and HC.
