Raul and The Maverick are my all time favourite. It's very interesting that my Mom passed at the very end of It is Well With My Soul and Raul's father passed while recording and signing the very end of I Wish You Well.

You'd be hard pressed to find 8 musicians who could put out a more interesting and complete sound than The Mavericks. Sure, without Raul Malo, there wouldn't be The Mavericks, but without that core group of backup musicians there wouldn't be The Mavericks either.

I genuinly wonder how this kind of stuff gets downvoted. I understand people not being huge fans of The Mavericks (I'm not very familiar with them). But it's not like you watch this for half an hour and think 'wow, that was disappointing'. You've heard of them. If you don't like them, don't watch the video. Sorry. Rant over. Great show, by the way!
