I was here for this stream. This stream is probably going to go down in some sort of history. As a resident of Springfield, I can't thank this man enough for his pure dedication to make sure that thousands of people stay safe during times like these. Watching that ARDOT camera footage was absolutely insane. Huge respect.

I wanted to come back to this and thank you for the coverage last night. You probably saved many lives, because you were way ahead of NWS and many of us didn't have any local news coverage. I was able to shelter in advance, and thanks to your precise locations given, down to the road names, I was able to call and alert several loved ones in the path. I have family and friends along most of that long storm track. Again, thank you so much. You and the team were invaluable to myself and my family. God bless you.

In Anna, in one of the neighborhoods you zoomed in on. Thanks for the heads up, that seemed to come out of nowhere so we weren't expecting to hunker down. I just happened to see the Livestream before bed and check where the storm was, so we had plenty of time to get kids to safety before alarms even went off locally.

8:28:07 - My dad was there at the lake. He claimed there was one to the north and to the south of him and caused significant damage. He had gotten a huge fish hook embedded in his wrist before the storm. 8:53:13 - That one was very close to me. It's a mostly wooded area, but there are a couple of houses there. If I was able, I would've went and checked to see if any damage occurred. 8:56:02 - That one looks directly over me. My mother was standing outside on the south side of the house, and claimed that the air felt cold. Then she went on the north side of the house where my uncle was, and said it felt hot and muggy. We heard a sound of wind that sounded like a tornado, but I'm not sure if there was one. It didn't sound like the typical high winds of a thunderstorm. It was a distinctive "woooosh-ing" sound. The other stream I watched showed 3 areas of rotation barely north of us. Not directly over us like this one.. And my uncle's friend, who lives just a few miles southeast in Kansas, Oklahoma, and he sent my uncle a picture of a slim tornado there. But there doesn't appear to be anything in that area on these radars, so it confuses me. And of course I'm very familiar with the towns east of here that was hit. Like Colcord, and Decatur, where possibly 4 tornadoes were on the ground. 4 tornadoes and 7 rotations is just insane. I badly wish I had a storm shelter, because it seems like any time there's any type of thunderstorm, they're ALWAYS trying to drop tornadoes in my area. Seems like over half of a dozen close calls for this area in just the past month and a half.. I want it to be over. 😑 I'm thankful we're safe though.

You and your crew (and a few other KZbinrs) send out the alarms for the Valley View tornado well in advance while NWS Fort Worth diddled around trying to decide. Ryan, regarding telling people to share and spread the word, I’ve heard television weather people calling out to let friends and family know to turn on the radio or the television or if the danger is imminent just get safe. The power of people sharing information with friends who may not be aware is lifesaving. Please don’t be embarrassed, the calls to share are as important as information regarding where the weather is and what it’s doing.

Sadly most of the injured were people taking shelter in the gas station and from 35.

I was backpacking and out in the middle of the woods in a tent where that tornado warning happened in Pennsylvania. We were not supposed to see severe weather so I hadn’t been checking, but thankfully our phones went off with the warning. With the limited cell service I had I could still load my radar omega app to see that the area of rotation was headed exactly right towards us so we knew we needed to seek out sturdier shelter ASAP (which ended up being the bathrooms a couple minutes walk across the campsite area). Luckily the storm blew through without any damage. Though I wasn’t watching your stream at the time, thank you Ryan for all you do keeping folks weather aware, it definitely helped me be prepared in that situation!!

I was trying to help a viewer on Ryan's live stream that was looking for a public shelter in Bartlesville Texas. The search was so frustrating because websites would make it seem like I was going to get a list of shelters but send me to things like a permit to build a shelter, an ad for a company selling shelters, etc.. I concluded the best thing to do might be to contact the local police and/or fire department via their non emergency numbers at a time when there is not severe weather to ask them where local public shelters are located. I'd also then contact or visit those shelters to make sure they are still serving the public. I felt really bad not being able to actually assist the person asking for help finding a shelter on the live stream.

I was at strother's field when the storm hit. was sitting at home watching the stream, got ahold of my dad via a wifi call app and then the power went out and I lost any way to look at the radar. I was sitting in the basement without power for what felt like HOURS but in reality was about 30 minutes waiting for my sister to get home from winfield. Winfield had golf ball size hail in this storm and she was protecting her car. It was a powerless experience as I not only didnt have power because a tree laid an entire pole over, but because I couldnt see the radar in any way because I didnt have internet or anything.

Hey Ryan Hall, I live in Pryor, Oklahoma and I want to give you a fun fact. The last tornado that went through Pryor city limits was an F5 on April 27th, 1942. After that tornado a great Cherokee Indian Chief buried a hatchet and conducted a sacred ceremony that protects the town of Pryor to this day. I don't much believe in stuff like that, but even watching the local news station's radar in real time and rewatching yours, it definitely makes you wonder how that tornado dissipates before Pryor city limits and then picks right back up just east of Pryor and rolled through Salina.

Why are some people so foolish to jump to conclusions and call it a "bust" b4 it's even over? The most dangerous tornadoes are the nocturnal ones way past sunset, people in Barnsdall, Sulphur OK, even Rolling Fork can tell you that. A few more towns join that list tonight, unfortunately.

Well, the most DANGEROUS and DEADLY tornadoes happen at night when people are sleeping. But most tornadoes happen between 3 and 9 pm. Some go to midnight, but rarely go to 4 am. Although the most dangerous happen at night, it doesn’t mean the most happen at night.

9:52:39 commenting about my experience as a Centerton resident with family, only been Arkansas for a few years. This was by far the worst tornado I’ve ever been through, I was woken up by the tornado warning that had been issued between early morning hours of (1:39AM-1:45AM CDT) my mother had been woken up by the EAS alert and she was watching out for the tornado sound. Luckily my house and neighborhood didn’t get hit, wish I had been able to join the stream but I had lost power as soon as I went to lay back in bed. This was by far a very scary storm, Night tornados are hard to predict. I hope everyone remains safe and I wish the best for anyone affected by the storm a good recovery to get things mostly back to normal.

I’m a native to Claremore and Claremore never ever gets hit by tornadoes because it is a massive valley, but recently they cut a hole a massive hole in keetonville hill and it’s basically a funnel straight into Claremore, and because they built it for the highway I think we’re going to get hit by a lot of tornadoes in the future.

Just got back from spotter activation near commerce Texas. My friend and I got caught up in it and he got pushed off the road. One minute we were chasing rotation and the next there was grass on my windshield and he was gone from my rear view... Crazy day

The the north Texas tornado was 8 miles from where I live so scary because it looked like a massive wedge and created lots of damage and it was an F3 which is terrifying

8:06:30 I was in southern Plano Texas and was feeling very warm wind that was going north into the storm, but this thing was 5 miles from my house. Very scary. No videos because I was working in Plano.

I was in Aubrey Texas visiting for a wedding during this and was scared out of my mind the entire time this was happening. Thank you for keeping everyone updated, I'm certain you saved lives especially given the fact NWS didn't put out a warning until after the tornado hit.

So, I live near around Tennessee and Kentucky, a place where we get a lot of tornados. After the tornados at the beginning of the month in May, specifically the May 9th outbreak, I developed a horrible crippling fear of tornados (my area got four warnings in one day). This is the day I traveled to Oklahoma City for a convention :^) You could not pay me to go back to Oklahoma. Our first AirBNB had a storm shelter but our second one did not. Yaaaaayyy............. thank god I'm moving to somewhere with an actual basement soon.
