Good explanation of the rebuilding of curves. I have tried to learn them in the distant past and it wasn't explained in a way that made sense. This was clear and concise and now I got it. ;)

Thank you so much for these tuts. This are the kinda tuts i love. The ones that teach you the tools rather than focus on the eye candy so that i can be able to "think & solve" in the furure. I am relearning Maya and ama keep an eye on ya channel.

Hi Michael, very helpful stuff. Do you know is there any other video reference for all the Edit Curves menu in Maya. The manual, is simply awful. There isn't much on Digital Tutors.

Alan Eddie Hopefully I'll be able to say The Maya Toolbelt one day! I'm working on it! I'm not really familiar with other tool-specific video sources save for KZbin as a whole, if you're able to find it.

Hi MIchael, I have a question: how to rebuild a bezier curve as I try to get something out of me
@mayatoolbelt7 жыл бұрын
You would first need to convert the Bezier Curve into a NURBS Curve. Select your curve and go to Modify > Convert > and find the Bezier Curve to NURBS option.

what I am looking for is an explanation and how it applies to production. disappointed

It's primarily if you need your curves to have a specific number of spans, parameter range, etc. Usually, when building shapes with curves, you want the spans/parameter range, etc. to match to get as clean a result as possible.

i love your other videos, but this one is extremely bad. this information mislead to achieve a bad knowledge. sounds also that is difficult for you to understand what you know. no bad feelings, but this is not an instructive video.
