Hi, very nice video and clear explanation. My problem is: after I've used this tool, how can I remove the "s" from the object without modifying the shape? thanks

If you're done modifying the object, you can delete the object's history and that should get rid of the modifiers. Otherwise, if you want to keep the modifier and just hide the S, you can choose to not show Deformers from the Show menu.

Controller is not moving with the animated object what to do? If I parent it shape is getting wierd

Is there a way to make the soft modification settings back to default without manually putting it back

You should be able to open the tool options and use the Edit > Reset Settings command to reset the tool.

I just realized you probably meant after creating a soft modification and messing with its settings, if there was a way to reset it. As far as I know, I don't think so. It would probably be fastest to delete the soft modification you don't like and create a fresh one with reset settings.

+Melanie Celis You would need to shrink your brush size. Hold the B key, Middle-Mouse click and drag to grow and shrink your brush size.
