The McCormick 46 Baler

We're back to haymaking with my next installment. I only had a 46 baler for a little while & I liked it. Didn't have the appetite that the 47 has. Ended up getting rid of it. Feel kind of bad that I did, because it was the local IH dealers demo baler. Oh well. Someone else is enjoying it now. Enjoy the video!!

Dad owned this model in the 1950s. I remember it failing to tie about 25% to 30% of the bales. The dealer could not make it tie any better. I was glad when we traded for a John Deere 14T. We later traded for a New Holland which worked even better than the 14T.
