I have always loved the McKamey’s; I love them all, but Sister Peg was my favorite! It broke my heart when I found out that she had gone Home. 💔Heaven gained another beautiful soul; we lost a beloved Sister! Is it possible to be happy, & yet sad at the same time? I actually am envious that she ran her race & now she can be at Home with Jesus for all Eternity! I know she’s shouting on the hills of Glory!! I pray Jesus has Mercy on me,& brings me Home too & very soon! I don’t belong here anymore; I’m so tired of the suffering & all the battles I have had to fight in this old world! Peg sure captured a special place in this old woman’s heart, I am bedridden, on Hospice & to be honest; I am just bone/ battle weary. I pray for her family that she loved so dearly. I have never felt so alone in my life! As I was told by a ‘very close’ family member just recently; the world doesn’t revolve around me. 😩 I already knew that, & have never considered myself to be of any importance; alI I asked for was to be shown some respect. I thank our Precious Lord Jesus for holding me special in His Heart though. Really, that’s all that matters in the end! I also believe that Sister Peg was and is very dear to Jesus. For all of you who are also struggling in this present world, look up, for you are also Loved Dearly by our Savior! He will never leave you, nor forsake you. When you feel forsaken by those that should ‘respect’ you, and have earned it , remember that the Lord does love you; and you hold a very special place in His Heart. Original, Authentic and most importantly... Anointed. They were consistent and never tried to be something they weren't. These days its hard to find people in this business who are genuine, humble and truly in it for God's glory. The Mckameys were all this and much more. They sang southern gospel songs with a powerful message under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. And, God abundantly blessed their ministry. Too many groups today rely on technical advancements, big production and special effects. Others may succeed in reaching the ear but Mckameys touched the heart. You were a blessing to God's people and presented Christ to a lost and dying world. Well done McKameys! And, Peg... Thank you! See you soon! To those that reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and who do not repent of sin. Their sins will not be forgiven and they will spend an eternity in hell. JESUS can set people free from their sins. He can give the Victory over sin. Jesus came to save the lost. Jesus can save sinners with his saving power. Jesus cleanses the sinner with his precious blood. Jesus makes a convert to be a new creature in Christ. HALLELUJAH JESUS SAVES!
