I certainly recall the volatile Colorado weather when I used to reside there. I MISS Colorado… it has a unique energy, incredible beauty and vibe … enjoy the snow!! ❄️ most of all I miss hiking it’s rough terrain…

I don't mind the snow at all, myself. And yes, the abundance of nature is absolutely incredible here. SO MUCH EPIC NATURE ALL AROUND!

If more people looked at the world through a camera lens (not a phone camera) I think more people would marvel at the beauty surrounding us every moment we are alive. It saved me from the dispair and I proselytize the healing power of photography to anyone who will listen. The creative process is so inherently therapeutic and is why I believe "the arts" are so important. It's hard to imagine a world without music, art, or photography.

I’ve heard it said there are three unifying concepts that undergird all meaning. Truth, beauty, and good. Funny how if you’ve ever experienced awe, it is one or more of those things. This stuff isn’t a joke, or a primitive(haha) flight of fancy. The truth shows you the scope of existence and your place in it. Beauty shows you the forms and alignment with those things. Good is what relevance a life finds in that, and it’s relation to all life. Good, beauty, or truth unobserved, is not really any of those things. See how that meaning is instilled in the union of our soul. Our breath. The immaterial network that constitutes us? That is what those old teachings mean when the speak of spirit. And it is not imaginary. The conceptual and coherent identity found in the self directed building of circuit and synapse is as real as any data stored anywhere. Be it words or images scribed in stone and wood. Or transmitted constructs on silicon. That stuff isn’t imaginary or unscientific. It’s not woo woo. It is only everything that matters, and pre exists all other notions regarding any aspect of existence. “I am that I am.” he said. So to are we. Choose wisely

Beautiful share… Thank you. Truth and beauty are things. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about. It’s ironic to me that things spoken in the name of truth can so often be divisive, as it is so frequently a very subjective thing. Truth is often something people cling to, and are willing to kill or die.for. At the same time, it can also give us confidence or act as a rudder on our journey through life. Something I appreciate about beauty is how often it can lead to connection and enjoy when it is shared.
