Ok, so while part of it was the hate, part of it was the constant anxiety over entertaining and making good numbers to the point that it took over his life, and he didn’t spend as much time doing things for his own enjoyment. He was using his fame to fuel his happiness instead of seeking it in other ways, and when things got bad, it would affect him more.

Damn. I read the lyrics and I thought they were genius but I didnt get that deep meaning. I saw the shift between the chorus and intro parts and the rap parts but i did not put them in perspective, i did not think they were completing each other. I did not think the lyrics were directed straight to the viewers, to us, so I couldnt find the meaning behind this gap. He really wanted to talk to us, it seems. He needed to get it out. Im gonna have to listen to Detect my love thinking more about what he meant. It is amazing how much Mysta did convey about his thoughts, his mentality, himself through this song which is bright and full of energy. I am genuinely in awe, more than I was before. I was already admiring the production, the lyrics literally, the vocals and everything; but the meaning is on a higher level of quality and it is magnificent. Gotta love Mysta for it. Ill be listening to Detect my love for a very long time and will always remember its meaning and the genius behind its creation 🧡

I’m such a music snob, with pretty much every song I’ll listen to first time I’ll read the lyrics to get the feel… his lyrics definitely caught me off guard. Overall the song execution is really impressive and never thought I’d say this but he matched the same energy of this one artist I adore; Brakence, who also does rap/fast-pace and speaks of social media addiction and struggle. Give him a listen. Oh and he shouldn’t say his lyrics are cringe cuz they aren’t honestly, you can say whatever the fk you want, what really matters is the weight behind those words. He killed it. I barely knew this guy but I respect him. Truly hope he gets to chill soon and feed his passions, all the best to him.

looking at the live chat while he’s explaining is so repulsing because you can tell that everything Mysta is saying, that’s going through one ear and out the other. especially during the part where Mysta is explaining the ‘i love you’ lyric. not once did i see someone sympathize with Mysta, and if i did, that was quickly lost in the sea of messages. it’s all just hearts/emotes, and people saying “I LOVE YOU” and “we’re here for you!” it’s so obvious that they *aren’t* listening to Mysta!

I really like the song and Mysta's approach. I listened to it when it premiered and I thought, "Yeah, there's more to this." Reading the lyrics do really hit hard, bcs I long accepted that they are at the end of the day, real person behind the avatar. So my thought process was whenever I watch them was, "Just enjoy with what they are doing. Be glad that they are there entertaining you, but always be professional as they are not obligated to your personal life too." I am so happy for all the oshis I followed since I discovered the world of Vtuber, and I hope one day, people would understand to not cross a line where it lies. You can play pretend, in a sense, but do not blur your reality with them, cuz who tf are u to push them what to do if they can do that themselves? At the end of the day, we are all strangers to each other, unless you are actually friends with the livers.

First time i read the lyrics ive already more or less got a clue on what it is. It has a similar vibe to like those obsessive-ish love (but not rlly love) vocaloid songs that while does speak of things like love and desire and the like, you do get the impression that that may not be all there is to it. Kinda a bit like that one character trope in media where theyre all lovey or sexual or stuff but its just a cover up to the load of issues theyve actually got. And I REALLY like these kinda love-but-not-really-love songs so after ive comprehended the lyrics the song just shot up to an instant fave of mine. It's just such a Mysta song, I super like it a lot.

Kinda unrelated but really love the lyrics. It might sound strange but in Oshi no Ko opening IDOL there's also a perspective from a fans and questions like "what do like to do in your free time" or "what do you like to it" and badmouthing from Ai (the idol's) band mates And perspective from the idol that basically tells us that she just wants to feel what's real love feels like, become her true self without being judged & create a loving family.
