Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace, amen. May the soul of Alice von Hildebrand and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, amen. Rest in peace Alice (d. January 14, 2022).

Phenomenal talk! Rest in peace, Mrs. Alice von Hildebrand!! Ive been talking of the power of authority and power of influence, for years!!!! If you read Aquinas on this subject, he talks of the soul absorbing the bodys "identicals" (he goes into more detail but goes over my head) - so, is there 1) a reunion of soul and body??? or 2) a regeneration of glorified body from souls absorption of bodys identicals, while the earthly flesh is gone?

Mrs. Hildebrand, as a Pole (that means Catholic) i appreciate your constatation about the state of the faith in Western Europe, but as a scholar, you should know that your country (Germany), is positioned to the west of Poland, country of great catholic tradition, country where Catholicism perseveres till today. You, are longing for chivalry - again, you can still find it in Poland. Since you are Catholic you should also know and appreciate that Germany is a neighbor to the country that was pointed by the Mother of Jesus to be her kingship - Poland.

I am sad for you, Dominick. there is no such thing as a liberal Catholic, except with a small c, and times may change but Christ's teachings and Christ's Church do not, in matters of Faith and Morals. My prayers are with you, that your journey back to the fullness of the Faith starts soon. True peace awaits. It is not easy, going His way in the world of today, but through His grace...there for the asking...we can, and we must. Pax Christi

Please save your pity for those who really need it.. I'm doing just fine and am happy and well..I beg to differ with you on being a liberal Catholic, So I guess we have to agree to disagree...Times and many old standards of days gone by no longer apply by today's standards.. Which is a good thing.. That's how we all learn and grow.. God bless you..

@@dominickbundy6429 there is literally a book named "liberalism is a sin" where he says there can be no liberal Catholics, because they will work on the side of evil. The Pope backed his book, if you really believe what you say is true, I recommend the book to you. Don't blunt your sword because you are cuddling the enemy to your heart.

@@dominickbundy6429 as I suspected, your “liberal” Catholic is actually an excuse to name-call, categorize, and stereotype. Let me also direct your attention to the “liberal” religious orders of the Church, all in various states of failure, and most nearing their ends. It appears that one size - faithfulness, tradition, structure, and humility - does fit all. The Jesuits have lost 75% of their numbers since the 1960s. Multiple once-thriving women’s religious orders threw away their structures to “liberalize.” Now many of them don’t even take new entrants. They’re just waiting to die.

Why is a nine year old girl walking into the bathroom as her dad is taking a shower? Did anyone notice the expression on the woman's face when he told that story?
@tessa74137 жыл бұрын
Bag Obeans yeah a bit awkward, but some people only have one bathroom, or maybe two divided among many people. As long as a person needing to use the bathroom knocks and announces their presence, and the shower covering is not translucent it's fine. I think it's a normal experience in many families & households.
@bagobeans7 жыл бұрын
Tessa I know that. I was commenting on how he shared that info. Too much info. Besides, he could ask those if they need to use the bathroom before he showers. She went in there to ask him a question, which I thought was inappropriate. There is no personal boundries is what I gathered.

Chivalry is the WIFE walking behind the man on a donkey??? I thought chivalry was the MAN walking the donkey with wife on it??? St. Joseph walked the donkey with Mary on it. On another note: Satan competes with God; satan persuaded Eve to compete with God; and when women began competing with man, all hell broke loose on earth.
@melindaanne60362 жыл бұрын
You mistook her. What she was saying is that feminism has taught men how to treat women. Chivalry is lost when women want to be treated like men. The man on the donkey was treating the woman exactly the way she wanted to be treated…like a man!

Sorry , but as a liberal Roman Catholic. I don't completely buy into everything she has presented. and just see it as her opinion only.. Times changes, along with attitudes and demographics as well as they all should.. Marriage is something that shouldn't be taken lightly and doesn't appeal to everyone either..Same goes for the concept of procreating.. there is a growing number who choose the singular life. and are Happy of doing so. Created a strong network of close and life lasting friendships. as a bases of a family.... Her presentation was very well presented . But I simpling don't agree with all she has presented..

Yes there is such a thing as a liberal Catholic, I am living proof of it..And I'm not alone either.. Who do you think you are passing such judgment on me.? You don't even know me or what "my kind' is about . only what you are assuming.. It's your "kind that will keep me and my kind in the church.. At least I question things , And abortion was never mentioned here at all by me..So you don't even know what my opinion is about that...you should think twice before being so holier than thou and judgemental. and excepting all the has been spoon fed to you that's all that ends all without questioning any of it..

You don't even know what the meaning of liberal is or how it's defined as in any dictionary.. You sound like a bitter miserable person full of hatred and venom.. Your kind is to be pitied..It has to be awful to be living in such a constant state of mind. /( which doesn't sound too Christian like to me.) I'm not going into any heavy debate here with you. Because i know your type of mindset . and it would just be a waste of time.. your too shallow judgemental and stuck in old out dated things of yesteryear that no longer applies by today's standards . to even consider other points of view... So i'll be letting you fume in your own venom of misery, and so be it..
