Summary: • Taqwa = God fearingness. • Taqwa is the supreme means of gaining the pleasure, satisfaction and happiness from Allah (swt). • Taqwa is the means of gaining closeness to Allah (swt). The greater the taqwa the closer you will get to Allah (swt). • Taqwa will give a person contentment and satisfaction in their life. • Benefits of Taqwa; o Protection from your enemies. o Forgiveness of misdeeds. o Reformation of your actions and deeds. o Will bring nobility. o Will be given glad tidings in this world, at the time of death and in the Hereafter. o Escape and safety from Hellfire. o Permanence in Paradise. o Allah (swt) will create an outlet during difficulties and openings / provisions thereafter. • The world and mankind are sustained on the name Allah (swt). • Taqwa also involves implementing the Quran, contentment and preparing for the Hereafter.
