I was looking for some work by Howie Gano, who I have not seen in many years, but was a friend of my dad and my step mom, when I found this music video. I listened/watched it a couple times and was really impressed but forgot about it for a few days. Now this morning about three or four days later and I had it playing in my head strongly and had to get on KZbin to figure out what it was again. The lyrics are top notch, as is the singing. I had never heard your music before. Masterfully done, everything about this is legit. I hope you make more music like this!

Dylan, wow, thank you for the very genuine and thoughtful compliments to my music. It really means a lot. And glad you found it through Howie - I have worked with him a couple times over the years (I split time btw Philly and KY so that usually drives who I work with for mixing/mastering etc). However, the pandemic has had many silver linings not the least of which was moving back to KY last Fall, when i wrote this song (inspired by the dark ages we are in) and getting to work with him again. Even more credit to Howie, and ironically, this was a completely 'contactless' project - I recorded my guitar and vocals in my home; my sister did her viol from her home; and we sent these tracks to Howie and then he worked his magic with mixing/production. Not sure if you are a musician or record but, if so, you will appreciate even further perhaps what we have learned on 'making do' during these interesting times - many thanks again!
