"The Medusa Touch." I know that Richard Burton is known for many films, including "Cleopatra" (with Elizabeth Taylor :) and "The Robe" (with Victor Mature). Mature was awesome in that. @@janetcraft Janet, with a warm cup of cocoa, and Gertrude were lying on the couch ........ "Hey Gertrude" Janet exclaimed."This weeks Friday Feature is The Medusa Touch! That's the one where they investigate if that Richard Burton dude is able to make bad things happen just by thinking about it!" Gertrude, who was napping, opened her eyes." What would you do if you had spooky mind powers Gertrude? Maybe you can turn this cup of delicious warm cocoa into turnip juice ha ha ha! " Gertrude closed her eyes and concentrated on the cup of cocoa. "Hey Gertrude what are you doing?....Gertrude?" All of a sudden the cup of cocoa in Janet's hand tipped over onto her dress!! "WHAT THE FUDGE GERTRUDE!!!" Janet shouted as Gertrude hurriedly ran upstairs. As Janet wiped her dress she said loudly...."how about I use my special powers to smack you on the bottom you little rascal!!!!!" THE END!

@@seacampeon8729 Part 2: Umm, this may take a while for me to think about a second part for this story - but in mean while, Gertrude did manage to hop over the stairs and skip into my bedroom where she hid herself under my bed sheets and pretended to be a lump under the covers, (like I don't make my bed every mourning, eh?). But that's okay. I took a quick shower and picked another black gown from my closet. (I have about 20 black gowns that all look the same color and size). After changing into my gown, I floated back downstairs and floated into the kitchen where I began to prepare my famous SPAM-witches with eggs and bacon. The smell of fresh food filled the mansion and guess who dropped in to join me for a meal? I saw her peeking around the corner. Yes. It was her. She grinned at me. I smiled. I placed the hot food on the table and she jumped out and hopped on the kitchen chair. Waiting to be served. Moral of story: Love your little creature friends, even if they miss behave. That's what keeps us together :) JANET: "Here Gertrude, I saved some turnip juice for you." GERTRUDE grinned. FADE TO BLACK: Credits roll.

@@janetcraftthat's a good moral to the story, Janet. A while back my little red-eared slider turtle, Eastman, was crawling around on the floor and he nudged my bedroom door open and crawled under my bed, which is where I eventually found him. I lay down next to the bed but I could not reach him, so I had to slowly nudge him out of there with a broom handle. By the time it was all over, me and Eastman were both exhausted, so we both were just lying there staring at each other until we both fell asleep. The moral of my story? This is probably the biggest budget & best cast movie on Creature Feature ever, the Cathedral collapse was an outstanding bit of practical & SPFX work. Sir Lew Grade who had made a successful career of producing filmed TV series in the UK for the US & International markets turned his attention to feature films in the late 70's & early 80's. He produced a series of high budget epics but most died in the arse at the box office, His last one "Raise the Titanic", sank his ITC company

Peter Van Greenaway who wrote this book was an absolute genius, the film is so close to his book it may as well be a script.
