About the charge shot, the comic as adapting both Megaman 1 as well as the Powered Up remake from the PSP, which has him using the Charge Shot and slide in MM1. That's why in later issues Oil Man and Time Man also show up to the plot as more robots from Megaman 1

You could also talk about non-beneficial glitches from all the main X games; For X1, if you manage to dodge those paralyzing shots from Vile, X will eventually die from contact damage with the ride armor. Also in the original non-patched Japanese and first North American versions, having X and Sigma kill each other will softlock the player on the cutscene dialogue. In the X Collection version of X2, the charging noise in the introduction will keep on playing. Also; in all versions, you can get stuck in a floor at Overdrive Ostrich's stage by using the upgraded buster and the strike chain. The area needs to have a ladder. Also at Crystal Snail's level, there's an area with spikes, stacks of crystal blocks, and an indent in the floor. It involves leaving the last stack of crystal blocks intact, jumping at the blocks, destroying a few of the blocks, and presumably having to face backwards. Doing it correctly will result in X and the ride armor being hunched over and then falling into an area not normally accessible; soon enough falling into the bottom less pit afterwards. In the Windows version of X3, Godkarmachine O Inary's homing sphere attack can cause object overflow. In all versions, trying to release a level 3 or 4 charge shot RIGHT before entering through a door will make you lose the ability to charge again until you switch to a boss weapon from the pause menu. You provided a demonstration of the Web Spider glitch; it could easily be included here. Also, there's a nasty bug on Frost Walrus's stage area 1. In a room with rising ice platforms and the door to Eyezard, it's possible to respawn in a way that the ice platforms won't show up anymore and the level terrain has become glitchy. By getting just close enough to the door and then falling into the bottomless pit the opposite direction. The video 'Megaman X4 - All Glitch' demonstrates this at the end. In the X Collection version of MMX5, there can be string errors for Alia's, Dynamo's, and Sigma's dialogue. As for all versions; there's a strange glitch in Burn Dinorex's area where jumping out of the lava with the ride armor, exiting that ride armor, and then trying to land on another next to the Light capsule will result in X getting stuck with the ride armor and not being able to enter the capsule. X also will not have immunity towards lava. X6 has portal death glitch. X7 has a spawn glitch with Crowrang's level. The original version of X8 has a glitch via negative overflow of metals through the life sub tank refill in the research and development lab.

How about ranking the different busters of the Mega Man X series? Mega Man X and Zero. That includes the original Z-Buster narrativily. Here's what I have to say about them myself (not including X4 and X6 Ultimate Armor due to them being cheat codes); Original Z-Buster: Was able to blow the arm of a mech rider off clean. Quite strong, but has been surpassed by nearly all of X's upgraded busters since X2. Z-Buster X2 and X3: Decently powerful, but not on the same level. Likely not the original model. Z-Buster X5: Worst buster on the series. Losing the thing in X5 is a better trade off than losing Fourth Armor. Z-Buster X6: Quite the busted boss health drainer. X's default buster: Decent enough. X1 X buster upgrade: Gives X more of a fighting chance against enemies, but not that great against bosses. Maverick Hunter X actually has the Zero exclusive version of the buster that packs more of a punch against bosses. I know you have no interest talking about the remake, but you should *briefly* mention this unique buster version. X2 X buster upgrade: A major jump-up from the previous buster upgrade. Really good. X3 X buster upgrade: While better than the X1 buster, it still didn't live up to its potential. The wall of shots doesn't work too well against bosses. X3 X Zero Project buster upgrade: The smaller shots now arc in. Managed to be even better than the already universally well liked Second Armor buster. X4 X buster upgrade: Stock shot is really good against bosses if you know how to time the shots. Plasma shot is quite famous in this game. It especially can go through walls in this game. Considering that and the option for stock shot, I say the unnerfed version of Fourth Armor has the best buster when not including X4's version of Ultimate Armor. I also like how the buster looks in general. X5 Falcon Armor buster: Cool looking buster. Fires unique narrow shots with piercing capability. Only real drawbacks are not being able to charge special weapons and needing all armor parts to use the buster. X5 Gaea Armor buster: Likely the strongest strength wise. However, the range is lacking compared to Fourth Armor and Ultimate Armor. Even the original Z buster seemed to have better range in comparison. X5 Ultimate Armor buster: The one thing that prevents this from being the greatest buster is Fourth Armor from X4; mainly because the shots can't go through walls. Otherwise, still the impressive thing and the coolest looking buster. X6 Falcon Armor weakened buster: Less impressive; although with a justified in-universe explanation. Being able to charge special weapons now is nice. X6 Blade Armor buster: Gives X the needed improvement to his saber swinging capability; though he still will never match Zero in that department. Also gives him improved air mobility. X6 Shadow Armor buster: Snazzy looking buster. Allows X to fire shurikens from the ceiling. Has its own powerful closed ranged attack. Considering how powerful Shadow Armor is, not being able to use special weapons is an understandable trade-off. Easily one of my big favorite busters. X7 Glide Armor buster: Doesn't do anything to make X worse, but is X's least impressive buster upgrade. Still better than X5 Z-Buster, though. X8 Hermes and Icarus Armor buster: Provide good usage.
