At the long road it is faster to unlock Zero in Rainy Turtloid stage cuz the reploids you save in the alternate path have both the Hyperdash and the Saber Plus parts. Therefore, Zero after defeating 3 mavericks can equip both of them for 1 slot making him 2 fast 2 furious.(I speedrun this game lol)

You also need Commander Yammark's weapon to be effective as X in Infinity Mijinion's stage, and once Zero gets Hyperdash and Saber Plus he will absolutely tear through CY's stage in a way that base X won't. Time saved everywhere.

Yes, Rainy Turtloid alt path has the Hyper Dash that will save you a lot. Of time. Pd: Yes, X6 >>> X5

Yes, in RTA once Zero is unlocked, you go directly to Shield Sheldon for the Guard Shell, the most useful glitch. Since TAS can do SDC more rapidly, more effectively than a human, and Yamato Option does additional damage, the Guard Shield glitch is hardly ever used.

I like Megaman X6, any TAS of it is quite a lot of fun... Is there a "full rescue" category? If so, I'd like to see it, because the placement on some of those reploids makes me think it should be a nice watch.

it was recently discovered a glitch in metal shark player to get the ride armor over the limit to a new higher platform, it uses Falcon Armor and Ice Shot if u do it correctly as the guide, u can make the compressor stay higher and in the 2nd part it doesnt even get down u can skill the whole 2nd part without waiting for it to get up

Kinda wish Capcom would take a hint and make not only X9 but also Legends 3..... They should know by now that not only are there LOADS of Megaman fans, but also the fanbase is growing. Megaman 11 and the Collections are proof of that.

2:36 The blade armor is required to 100% that area. Or you can use the bats to do a precise damage boost to the shadow armor part upgrade.

Also, some reploids are saved cause they have parts you can equip to boost you in the game. Some effects include higher jumps, faster ground speed, more I-frames, quicker charging, and more....

Some techniques I recognize from this speedrun (I don't know the right name for them): 0:07 - Short dash: holding down and using the dash makes the dash start faster. 0:08- Jump slash: cancels the momentum which makes megaman fall faster and give some time to reach some platforms. 0:14: SDC/slash dash cancel: pressing the saber button and using the dash makes the saber go faster. 1:05 - High max skip: High Max doesn't waste time fighting megaman if X is HP. 2:08 - Spike invincibility: taking damage makes you invunerable for a short time 3:21-Zero fight: jumping while attacking with the saber prevents the animation that makes Nightmare Zero invunerable for a while. 4:00-Third hit saber: Z-saber's third attack hits several times and deals a lot of damage 4:00 and 5:45 - Saber attack while facing away: for some reason attacking with the saber while Zero starts attacking and then facing away from the enemy deals more damage. 5:07 laser manipulation: All Laseres follow your character even if they are off-screen. 6:00- Invincibility bug: using the tortoise skill at one end of the platform makes Zero invincible until he moves to another screen. 11:27- Totem skip: same principle as taking damage to get through the spikes only this time you use the wolf's ability to damage yourself and get through the totem.

X6 is considered the worst because of the inconsistent lore, awful Maverick sprites, and cheap stage designs. Only thing that carries this game for me is Zero's new Saber animations. Weapons also crap too.

In regards to "this is better than this", Rockman X games became worse with time, since X2. X3 and 4 are really cool, X4 has a retard story, then 5 6 and 7 ...are just really mediocre games in comparison to the older ones. Peace.

I guess I'm note sane as not only I've played X7 but since it has a New Game+ mechanic I've played it 3 times in a row to collect everything and max out everyone's stats. Really if more Reploids gave you "currency" for upgrades then there wouldn't be a need to replay the game.
