You should have seen what the Mekong looked like in 70-71, when I traveled it in an old army mike boat to Cambochia from Vinh Long. 3 long days it took just to make it to Moc Hoa. lol I would love to take your trip and I just might put it on my bucket list . I was on the Mekong in 2019 - my first time back since the war. Spooky ! Thanks for the flashback.
