I was fortunate enough to see this band perform live on January 24, 2014 in Pontiac Michigan when they opened for Johnny Flynn. If the opportunity ever arises where you can take in their show DO NOT PASS IT UP! They are as entertaining as they are skilled both as musicians and as songwriters. I was able to speak to a few of them after the show and they are as genuine as they are talented. The Flynn gig was great but what was equally as good is that I learned of a new band that I hope to hear much more of in the future. thank you for posting this!

Hopefully I never forget this song, Hopefully one day I could show it to my sons, or show it to me again one day I´m sad and I want to be sader, or one day I´m happy and I want to be happier, or one day that the only thing I want is to fly.

I don't know the right antecedents or influences to name-check here, but this fellow's voice sounds like ancient Ireland to me. Something timeless and classic to this sound.

No, not Irish. His voice reminds me of Bert Jansch, is what it is.

The intro is called "The southern exiled" and is from Violeta Parra, chilean. You should mention it in the description ;) Greatings

Good sound, nice background, phenomenal performance. Very nice. It'd be even better with an accordion instead?

Perhaps, but maybe not. This band's instrumentation is unusual, and to my ear contributes to their charm. Same for their vocals.

Its because its a different female vocalist. The one in the video is not on the album. I'm not sure what happened exactly.
