Gosh, I know your pain and I can relate. I hate that. I can tell you that it gets better. You don’t have to feel that way, you can choose to believe in yourself regardless of whatever circumstances made you feel like you can’t or shouldn’t. It takes courage, and yes, it will feel weird at first and you may even take steps backwards because you’re used to thinking a certain way and it’s comfortable. But I promise it gets better if you just dare to believe in yourself. The way you see the world will change and you will see doors begin to open. God bless you! ♥️

I just got my first appointment with a therapist on better help. After going through therapy with women that I felt didn’t get me as the only black woman in my medical school class, I hope this lady (she looks promising because of her age, her ethnicity and I believe she is Christian like me plus she has experience with the issues I am dealing with) will be the therapist that will click with me. Plus it’s all virtual and affordable for my budget. Thank you for bringing us this opportunity kind ladies. 💜
