Smuggling cigarettes is indeed is exactly what it sounds like. Smuggling a product across state lines to avoid specific taxes and fees. Whether its cigarettes, alcohol or medication, the key is to buy a whole bunch of a product in bulk in states where the taxes are cheap and then selling them at a discount across state lines where they are expensive in order to make more money in profit. It's pretty simple but once you eliminate state taxes and standard fees from the equation, you can make a LOT of money.
