Never thought about the "technical advisor" concept..which is a compliment maybe to all concerned. Definitely seems authentic while simultaneously keeping true to each particular character. Broke 💔 when Patrick asked his daughter if she was coming back. So love all the characters 💕 & their distinct personalities.

The most boring part of The Mentalist: the standard police pursuit and restraint procedures. Blah, blah, blah.... early on the series had a critical take on all the force and intimidation used by cops...over time that criticism dropped out...
