I love this deck, but, that pregnant mermaid drives me crazy. They have fish organs in the lower body! Fish lay eggs, which are then fertilized by the male fish. I guess that's an example of needing to suspend belief.

I was never huge on mermaids, honestly, but when I saw this deck, I needed it. It did not disappoint. I got it primarily bc I love the work of Julie Dillon. She’s a brilliant artist. But now that I have it, I really love it. It’s not my top deck, but it’s a deck I love.

Oh my goodness, I love this deck so much! I have always loved mermaids, but never really connected with an ocean themed deck before. I would stare at images of the cards online and feel my intuition scratching its head, but these cards are so clear in what they mean. And the art is gorgeous. Just, wow, thank you for reviewing this. I am adding this, and the Mermaid oracles to my wishlist. I love mermaids way more than I thought I did, the more decks I see, the more I fall in love with them.

Mermaids go deep into my childhood. Not the disney BS (soz) but the whole mythology & mystery of them. I'd even dream i was one :-) Also, even with her controversy, I still love my Mermaid & Dolphins Oracle-Doreen Virtue. My vibe is that she was in the right space when she created them! Anyways, their imagery & uplifting messages are really welcomed, to balance my deep Scorpio/Piscean soul lol So anyways... I LOVE THESE SO MUCH & need them in my life. Am only learning Tarot now, but for now have chosen Gaian Tarot & Everyday Tarot as beginner study decks, bc i love them, but defo will get this deck at some stage. It's not only colour diverse, but age, as well, which i love. It's so nice to not just have a token brown skinned image included, but many, & voluptuous & diverse body shapes, too. As with Gaian, a winner all round imo!! TFS (-:

Never felt like this about a deck before. By 6 minutes in I had been near tears multiple times, by 6 min 35 I was already viewing it as if I owned it already, and after the Star's book entry in I was actually crying and my cat had showed up to see what's happening (she checks on me when I'm crying). Absolutely absolutely getting this. Thank you SO much. I love the diversity of skin tone and body shapes, love the death, devil, & hanged man (it's my peeve when devil cards just show a scary demon cackling or something. This one shows a situation you can get out of if you stop struggling and look for the solution, which is SO much better). The right amount of gravity, whimsy, a consequences, and hope.

I was going to buy the cosmic slumber, almost, but then I waited for a weeks searching for more since this will be my first tarot. I find it allows you to get to know your deck more when you can really feel and see the emotion depicted. It allows you to be more open to be emotional as well.

I have several. So many tarot decks is good. Read the guidebooks as each guidebook Can teach you more about a card meaning. I think that is what has helped me. Different artists interpretations.
