sir garry one of greatest in W I cricket saw and kanhai in bourda georgetown my dad too me that was a day i never forget garry sobers the first west indies to score 6000 runs test cricket secondwas kanhai sir frank worell 1960/1961 tour to aussie with young sobers and kanhai and more great players the ump rob the west indies in the fouth test kanhai score a hundred in both innings the umpire rob the west indies in the fouth test second last aussie pair 110minute out a lot of time my dad sir frank worell was the best captain for the indies sir died at age of 42 sonny ramadin died 2022 ramadin son craig ramadin his god father is sir frank both married english girls i read a lot of cricket books from england and a lots research

Was he the greatest ever? As an Englishman I have to admit he was pretty good! While I worked in Barbados I met Wes Hall who wasn't a bad bowler!

mike hutchinson hall was a great bowler at that time 192 wicket sonny ramadin 158 wicket val 143 wicket look it up espn cricket stat i do a lots reading and research left guyana 1969 to new york but still follow the cricket bug from ny

Sobers scored over 8000 test runs at an average of 57 in 93 tests. He was an all rounder . This doesn't include his World XI 254 vs Australia in Melbourne and his 181 and 8 wickets in the same match vs England for the World XI in England. Mike Procter said he was the greatest all rounder ever in an interview on KZbin with Ian Chappell who said the same thing . Only Bradman has the same impact as Sobers.
