I like how the shopkeeper says there’s no boss but there is still this whole anticipation for a boss encounter. I spent the whole time thinking there was going to be this surprise boss. Then... nothing, moving on to the next level.

I mean this in the best way possible, but I love how the songs kind of mimic the game itself. Right when you think certain musical phrases are ending, they actually wrap around a bit and keep going. There’s always more around the next corner, which you’d definitely feel if you don’t know a lot about the game’s twists.
