I went to a Regional qualifier back in February and lost in the second round. I was using Golgari Toxic/Infect without a sideboard ( accidentally forgot it in the car). My opponent was playing Mono Red. Kumano on T1 and Phoenix Chick on T2 and I lost on turn 3. Second game same thing but lost turn four. It was so back breaking and soul crushing. I've never lost to a red deck that quickly

I’ve been running that red list even since I saw it go 5-0 in a mtgo league. The 3 mana case still works even if you don’t have a card to pitch so it’s optimal to just have it as the last card and it’s effectively a 3 mana draw 2. And also a correction: you don’t pitch your hand at the end of the upkeep so once it’s solved you just draw 3 for the rest of the game. 99% of the time it just means you win but I’ve had a game where I was at 4 hp and my opp was at 1 and he had sheoldred on the board so I dead on upkeep for drawing 2.

The Temur Ramp deck was a surprise to see. It is a really fun one to play though, but I considered it jank. The win-con is to control the board while you loop Worldsoul's Rage. It's a suped-up fireball that's also a ramp spell.

I've been playing a Mardu sacrifice/Aristocrats deck that gets value from Elas, Vrann, Bartolome, and Warleader's Call coupled together with Urabrask's Forge. So you get some good threat generation and also when the token dies you drain a bunch of life from your opponent and can sac the token from Forge to either a Bartolome, or a Corrupted Conviction. Plus some good sac fodder like 1 mana white gnome who's name escapes me and Greedy Freebooter.

one of my go to decks in arena is rakdos built around Vraan and Urabrask's Forge. If it can get going, it's hard for the opponent to stop it.

Expand upon this. We've got a healthy standard format, Pioneer is great, Modern just got some changes, Commander is Commander. I can see what you mean if you're saying "WOTC is mismanaging the game at the corporate level", but if you just mean Magic is currently not fun to play, I respectfully disagree
