This was actually recorded live on a French TV show in early 1982, they did three songs, this, Attack Of The Zorchmen and another that has been lost to time! This is actually the second line-up of The M3t3ors, PPF Guitar/Vocals, Nigel Lewis Bass/Vocals and Woodie on Drums. Sadly not long after this Nigel & Woodie left to form the escalators with original M3t3ors drummer Mark Robertson & later the Tall Boys. Unfortunately PPF has totally dismissed anything featuring Nigel, Mark & Woodie in the band and there remains many unreleased recordings and videos both live & studio from those early days that PPF refuses to release.

Surprised that PPF never got a kicking of Teds, Rockabillys, and the Scooter lot as he seems a bit of a wanker from certain vocals poit of view.

Both were truly great bands at their peak, but the Cramps were never as good after Bryan Gregory left & the Meteors were never as good after Nigel left.

Wrong, this wasnt one of the early gigs it was Nigels last ever performance with The M3t3ors, a recording for a French TV show in April 1982 two years after he formed the band. He left a week after recording it. One of the other two tracks (Attack Of The Zorchmen) he used a normal bass guitar.

@@chrisr5499 Original drummer Mark Robertson had left a couple of months earlier after an invite to join 'Theatre Of Hate' (an invite which was then withdrawn). Woodie replaced Mark & also RJ Pathetic joined just after this video was made. Nigel wasnt happy that PPF was taking control of the band & its direction so he too left rejoining Mark to form the escalators. Ironically Woodie also left soon after & also joined the escalators. The fact that since formation in 1980 The M3t3ors have had so many different line-ups with PPF being the only original member tells you all you need to know!

Black n white, grainy, psycho horrorbilly at its most disturbing. My girl hates shit like this. But it only took one viewing, and now she has this queer attachment to it. I think it stopped her DEAD in her tracks. As to become mesmerized. Everything about this clip is as though it was, and always has, been this way. A perfect moment of time.
