Can this scale be used for weighting in milligrammes?

So, I got my scale to work by using coins to get the weight. In the US, a modern nickel weighs exactly 5 grams and a modern penny weighs exactly 2.5 grams. To get to the 300 grams my scale is set for, I had to get a whole stack of coins. When you try to calibrate it, it seems to have a time limit which starts as soon as you add weight. Long story short, I ended making 4 stacks of coins and taping them together to make it work. As soon as it says to calibrate, put your weight on the scale (gently) and let it sit until the scale says "PASS". You're done!! I hope this was helpful. Have a great day!

Mine also says "out2" and won't weigh. I don't see anything in the instructions about that (which is why I'm on KZbin, watching videos). If I find any useful info, I'll leave another comment.

Am I the only one who noticed the 30-second Auto off along with a recommended 30-second warm up time before use? Whole reason I came here is because it says the 30-second Auto off as "default" so I want to figure out if there's a way to change it because why would they call it default if you couldn't

Hold down the tare button for a few seconds. You should be able to change the auto off from 30, 60, 120 and 180 seconds. That's how mine works. Not sure all are the same though.
