Like I use to watch it back in freshman high school but stop after like 1-3 eps of Season 5. Idk what volume I stop on for the manga. But Primus I didn’t expect the MHA (not all since some are not toxic and nuts) to be what’s the word “have no life”? Idk how else to say it or maybe toxic, nuts? And more. Also, not all the show is bad. Some arcs were actually well written. Some were not. My main issue with the anime is that it TAKES SO LONG! But some of the fights are awesome.

I have only really been exposed to the more... crazy side of the MHA shipping fandom in recent months. I will not lie and say that I don't ship some people in MHA but I have some very VERY strict limits on what I support. And I am not going to hammer why my ships are right over someone elses, I walk away and move on with my life. I whole heartedly support ships like Izuku and Ochako and Shoto and Momo. But I like some different ideas like say Izuku and Tsuyu or Jiro... they don't turn out canon , Ehh oh well. What fics are for, not going to lose sleep or have a heart attack over it. No underage ships at all, its legit creepy and makes my skin crawl. So I will agree with you that the MHA Fandom is definitely a strange one, but there are normal fans who ship just for fun 😊

We (the not ship crazy people) sorta just exist, I don't write ships myself, usually I can see where people are coming from, stuff like Eraserhead/Present Mic and Izuku/Mei, I've noticed that the My Hero fandom ships more for dynamic and less sense and characterisation takes a backseat to timeline. Take Izuku Midoriya for example, he can be written like a slightly manic analytical genius or a no thoughts head empty innocent green bean and anything in-between is fair game too. So relationships are on a case to case basis or in this example a fic to fic basis.

Honestly, I used to read the manga, and now that I think about it... Bakugo could FEASIBLY be gay. Every other boy in the class has at least 1 scene of them perving or blushing cuz of girls. Ir they have a crush, or a girl who likes them. Not bakugo, he just has a bunch of male friends😂.
