I was laying in my dialysis clinic yesterday, with my AirPods on, listening to this song, with tears running down my face. I've been revisiting this song for a long time, and I've been waiting on God to move in my life. Of course, He has kept me, sustained my life, blessed me in many ways, but there are certain struggles that have been so painful. Chronic Kidney Disease, untransplantable, wife left me and our two kids 7 months after I began dialysis (10 years ago). I've stood on faith, and God has brought me through 10 years alone as a single parent on dialysis. Medically retired and on a fixed income. Not complaining, but sometimes the pain flares up and it knocks me down. Mostly in mind and spirit. Still grateful to God. This song touches deep down inside.

Hmm that’s not entirely fair as I believe profit and gospel music has always had a very close connection. In church they sung then took offerings.. that’s formatted that way on purpose 😂 Then think about musicians who took the gospel format and used it in non gospel music for profit.
