Idk if bitter is the right word imo. I think he's just going through a bit of a rough patch. He's obviously wanting to go pro, but I think lately he's been realizing just how far he is from making that a reality. Really tough to keep a positive mentality when that's happening. As someone who once had aspirations of going pro but came to the crushing realization that I wasn't as good as I thought and ended not playing golf for 4 years until just recently, I really sympathize with him... When Micah is playing well, I think he's very entertaining to watch. I'm just hopeful he can get his short game and putting where it needs to be so that he can be competitive at a high level. If he is able to do that, I think it will really help his mental game and get him back to the excited and positive player he was with GG.

I think the reason that Micah gets so much buzz around what he does is because his leaving GG was more drama filled. I think that Grant is a genuine dude. I really feel he hated leaving Good Good and honestly respect that he moved closer to his family. And I believe there’s no hard feelings between he and Good Good. We may even see them collab down the road. But for some reason there’s a lot of hate towards Micah. And for me it’s just the way he carries himself. He seems a little cocky and arrogant and left Good Good because he felt they were beneath him. That he was so much better and felt he could do better on his own. I don’t know Micah personally. I know he’s a man of faith so I could be way off. Just saying how his personality comes off to me. So of course he’s going to get some hate when he leaves to pursue pro and then go on to do Good Good type things with other golfers.

The interesting thing is that "good good type things" are initially for the most part what the Brit Golf KZbin was doing long before... The stuff with Crossfield, the Map, Gorilla James, Harry Flower and so on or the "Lancashire bunch" with Shiels, Finch, Carter and Fryer... Nothing that new or different, when you're doing golf videos it's either instruction or playing and trying to spice up things with challenges. The only really new take is BDS with challenges that are often not golf related mixed in golf (drinks, food and so on) and a much stronger comedic side.

This is how I see it… There’s the original creators of the channel. They brought new talent in. The new talent rose quickly. The arrangements from day 1 needed to be recalibrated. The original guys got greedy thinking they were “owed”. The new talent bounced feeling extorted. And obviously the contracts weren’t ironclad. End of the day being the original doesn’t give you ultimate control. It just meets you get a piece of the pie. They argued behind the scenes where the slice should be cut. Creative control. Pay. Royalties. Whatever. Hopefully they can continue harnessing the positive energy and like Meek Mill and Drake, drop the beef for the greater good. Egos will limit $$$s. But for now the drama is creating content and actually driving up revenue. Hopefully they don’t burn out on it tho. Ultimately any falling out has to do with ego and $. “This was my idea” kinda stuff. Except this has been done a million times it’s just new to golf. So, the guy saying that is being a control freak and has lost their leverage in the situation. That’s what contracts help with. Manage the transition of leverage over time. If you have a weak contract you lose your leverage and then you get butthurt. Say sorry, recalibrate, build again!

Garrett and Steve have known Micah for a long time (him and Garrett are cousins). Think they’ve only known grant for a few years. It’s natural that their relationship with Micah would have more tension, there’s a lot of history between them. Micah’s biggest asset to good good was his skill and talent, wouldn’t say that his personality lit up a room. I see grant appearing on gm_ golf or good good long before Micah. I’m willing to believe that it mostly financial and less animosity with grant. With Micah it seems alot more personal on both sides. All of them are playing a game for a living. It’s very clear what happened, Micah and grant left as soon as they had enough viewers to support themselves, gave some bs reasons on why they were leaving and now are taking all of Garrett and golf goods ideas and doing them with other people. It’s not rocket science, we can all see it right in front of us clear as day. With Bob does sports being the middle man between everyone. I think Grant somewhat is more innocent than Micah being as he’s mentioned Garrett and goodgood a lot since leaving vice versa

Micah seems to be super petty from this scenario. Sure, the GG guys could have just not responded or anything, but these titles and things are obvious jabs. At least Grant has humility and grace and shouts them out in his videos.

So the real beef is the fact Steven gets paid the same if not more then others in GG and internally he's viewed as lazy and disinterested in golf and the channel. Apart from his turn at swinging a club Infront of the camera... Most of the time he's off sitting in the cart on his phone and not supplying commentary or reactions . That really pissed off Micah and it looks like Grant was seeing the issue with it to.... They tried to get Garrett to see the light and stop piggybacking him

I'm confused, what was the takeaway from this video? To make awareness of Steve saying cute to a post? It didn't really explain anything except seems like it's trying to stir the pot for click bait videos tbh.

These comments are wild. Ceazy Micah haters, when its just now summer, and if you followed him, would know he is persuing more tournaments. He flatly wabts to get better, and wears his happiness and unhappiness on his sleeve. Also, that gm_golf lol seems out of place. I thought he was supposed to be happy for everyone's endeavors? 🤔 Lots of ppl picking and choosing who and what to be mad at when clearly everyone is doing their own thing and collabing w whoever they want.

I think Micah gravitates more towards Bryan bros, busta jack and others because they’re older and more his lifestyle. I know he’s a Christian and so is George Bryan. I think he truly just didn’t wanna be with guys 3-4 years younger than him and wanted his own thing with his wife and golf. I don’t think there’s any ill intent

I like watching all of the usual creators in and out of GG. I like the addition of Brad, Ben and liked Luke (the other Luke - lanky colleague lad) with GG. That dynamic of having guests or semi regulars on GG is a good outcome of G and Micah leaving. Steven and Mat irritate me with their mood swings and lack of interest and whining at times (they may have personal struggles so I'm not judging just stating not enjoying watching them). G and Micah I can see why they went their own ways and happy to watch their vids some better than others as with all content. The dramas is a bonus - who cares we can only guess as to personal issues they may have between each other. They're all young and young men do stupid things from time to time...

Micah and Grant arent creative enough to keep anything going on thier own. You said there are only so many diff golf challenges and they are going to have to copy some content but thats just not true. GG made an Among Us challenge, like how do you even do that. Bobdoessports is eating a shit ton of burgers. There are plenty of ways to be creative but you have to actually be creative. Grant has a good personality, the smile, and the swing. Micah has distance i guess ha. Theyre going to have to join another group to stay big.
