This and the Handling Improvements that I gain with the Road 6 is why its the ONLY tire that will go on my Concours 14.

I have nearly 12,000 miles on a PR 4 on the rear of my Vstrom650. By far the best life I've gotten and a very confidence inspiring tire. It's worn out but not yet showing cord. I have a Road 6 waiting in the wings! At 70 y.o. I mostly ride secondary roads here in NW GA /TN/AL so it gets a good workout.

Just got my new Road 6es on my MT-07. Had to ride the first few miles in the dark with rain and a ground temperature around freezing with these tires not even broken in yet. And because the lean resistance of these tires is a lot less than my old tires and me not being used to it yet those few miles felt absolutely terrifying! But even in those conditions they never slipped. Can't wait to do my first 4500 miles on these.

Fitted Michelin road 6’s 2000 miles ago , now my 3rd set tyres on my v4 pikes peak. First two sets were obviously the standard rosso 4’s ,I then fitted same tyres as a pair at 4k , did 3500miles on 2nd set,so tried the mich 6’s. Gotta be honest when I first rode away from having the Michelins 6’s fitted my pikes peak felt like I had off road tyres on it😳, was weird. But! After doing maybe 100 miles I kinda liked them. Did 1500 miles following week all around Scotland ,a lot in rain sometimes heavy and all the miles on twisty roads , at speed. Now I really like the Michelin road 6’s . I’m now at 2000 miles , tyres look good, I’m sure I’ll get another 2000 miles ,hopefully as I’m going to Isle of Man in august for week to watch Manx TT. 😊👍. I now really like these tyres. More than I thought I would to be honest. My v4 pikes peak is on 9000 miles now and it’s 10 months old, I’m out early morning and I consider myself a fast quick rider , those who do long rides or bigger mileages will understand when I say you get into rhythm quickly. That’s me. My only problem is I can’t stop riding my bike😂, I rode lot demos, Tuono, ktm 1290r, v4s, etc etc so happy I bought this v4. It’s effortless. Love your content Rembo. You are welcome to come stay and enjoy the twisty roads of Scotland anytime . 😊👍👍

I must admit I was sceptical about the road 6 when I got my new ( new 2nd hand ) bike that they would handle the power and still grip So far I am well impressed the H2 SX se runs well on them and I hope I get 4500 miles out of them I used S21's on my zx12r and loved them but only got 2500 miles out of the rear and 3500 miles out of the front.

Road 6 tires are legit. Dont get me wrong, the factory Pirelli tires were great, but they dont hold a candle to the Road 6 tires for road use in my opinion. Absolutely love them up here in Colorado. Cheers

Hey Rembo, Another Pikes Peak owner here and the timing of this video couldnt be better!!!! I am just about to get new tires as my Rorro Corsa IV's are gone at 4200 miles. I had just about made up my mine on these Road 6 tires, but your video makes my decision easy!! I ride the Malibu Hills pretty hard every Sunday, so Ill let you know how they hold up in the canyons. I had 6000 miles on Road 5;s on my 2023 BMW R1250RT that I rode hard and they had at least 2,000 miles left when I sold it. Thanks again! Next will be the full exhaust!!

Hi Rembo, I have Road 6's on my V4SMS now, only 3k KMS so far but the R5's I had on my previous bike (KTM 1290 SDGT) easily lasted 15k kms (9,000 miles)with tread still above the wear markers and good grip to the end 👍 I run Michelin's around 35psi Front & 37psi Rear because they are Kevlar belt construction, not steel belt, so they last longer by running cooler than steel belted tyres. I love their profile. They feel planted and neutral yet tip in nicely in corners and their grip is phenominal, dry or wet. Truly great tyres....👍 Running high pressures does not extend tyre life or help maintain good grip. Modern tyres have high silica content and multi later compounds for more even wear. You will wear yours out faster than me so I look forward to your 9k mile assessment 👍

Good thought. I still haven’t taken advantage of falling angle with this bike yet. Waiting for that day to happen.

Road 5 are gone after 4500 miles. Better try road 6 if they last that long.

Not bad, but I heard Revzilla, I think, say they got 18k miles out of the rear on a 765. It's a little lighter bike, but that's a still crap ton of miles for a ST bun. I don't think your rear's gonna make it. Probably better than avg and given that all tires have gotten a healthy dose of inflation lately, it's probably still in the running for best bang for the longevity buck. I'm still not sold though. Way too much edge without rain grooves. That may fly in Miami or running down the highway, but it ain't something I'm going to put on to run thru a rainstorm on twisty mountain roads. Get it heeled over and it's essentially a slick. The 6 has improved on the 5 which was completely ridiculous, but I'm not a fan yet. On dry days I'm sure it's probably one of the stickiest ST tires, but I'm willing to trade off ultimate dry grip for grip in the inevitable summer mountain pop up storms. There's a reason racers put rain tires on when it rains. Michelin accommodates them. photo.gp/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Michelin-Brno-test-rain-rear.jpg

Thanks for posting and providing the photo link. Michelin is certainly tops in my opinion.
