Okay, I'm freakin' out. That 'hyah' is something I've heard all my life and found it to be Scandinavian in origin when I heard family doing it when I visited Norway a few years back. Anybody else have that experience? I suppose Nova Scotia would have a pretty good Scandinavian presence. Too damn funny.
