Thanks!Before starting to adjust the positioning of the cartridge, I always show the client a video of the passage of the stylus along the groove under the microscope.Seeing how the stylus passes along the modulated track, you can explain to a person why fine tuning is required.Namely, the correct selection of the cartridge according to the reference values to the tonearm is necessary, the correct adjustment so that the stylus passes correctly, without loss of musical moments.

The answer is different depending upon EACH of the seven alignment targets. Keep an eye out for more information coming on that series of videos. I have already covered overhang/effective length, the two forces and next up are videos on the four angles. I hope they will provide you with what you are looking for to be able to communicate with your clients.
