Hey guys loving the show. I am actually a blockchain developer and i know enough about the crypto stuf and all that. Its true that the world coin guys are collecting a vast amount of data but you lot have to understand that in blockchain technology ,no one actually has access to the data collected. The data collected is taken , broken down and stored in differrent nodes in a random fashion such that even if a person was ever to get access to the data(which is next to impossible) its broken down and cannot make sense. The eyeball scan is a KYC( Know Your Customer) measure to ensure that one person can only have one acount. The rise in popularity in blockchain is because of the security and privacy that comes along with it and also its decentralised meaning it cannot be regulated .

I'm a web dev too and to the best of my knowledge the eye scan is there to ensure each customer has one account. Similar to how the government uses fingerprints
