This world, utterly painful as it can be sometimes, IS NOT OUR HOME. Think with eyes on eternity. This life is a wisp of smoke and then you’re gone. Please do not believe the lie the devil is yelling at you. It will get better. It WILL. God keeps every promise. He sees you and your pain. And He will get you through.

@@jeffreyvanhorn1996 No I didn't hear a word he said after he went on about all his family, adult children, grand children & great grand children, all his descendants & the rest of his family brothers, sisters, etc etc etc. because I could not bring myself to listen after that because of how it affected me. Although you won't & show you don't understand, it was too much for me. I never heard DW go on like that. You won't understand because you don't know what it is like at all. Try living yourself without human love, without ever allowing feelings or emotions to ever affect you. You cannot know the path that someone else has walked or know how much they have gone through. If you only walked in their shoes for just a day experiencing it all I would like to see how you felt afterwards with all your fine words. How do you think Jesus felt with all that suffering & pain he experienced as the Son of God. I am not comparing of course myself to Him in any way but I know that Jesus understands what I mean even if you don't & can't.

My youngest son here in Alabama, who is 28, was in a bad place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and I'd been crying to out to God for him to get into a program, and the week after the message about the Alabama boys' testimonies, my son went into a program!!!! I gave my life to God 35 years ago. And I went from church to church. My father had been a pastor. He's the one who told me as a child about David Wilkerson. But my father no longer was a pastor by time I'd given my life to God. I was too ashamed to ask him anything. So all the churches I tried. Finally, after 'winging' my walk with Christ. He told me it was time to grow up. I didn't understand. I do now. I'm going through the fire. I, at times, had desired to die. My family torn apart. I'm so hurting. But I know I'm right where God wants me. I don't know how my marriage will go. If my son will come back. But I know who holds my future. I can say I trust him. But this is painful. I thank him for teaching me and growing me up. But I am SOO THANKFUL FOR TSC and you, Pastor Carter, and Pastor Tim. I thank God for men like you. I pray for you and this church. I hear you, but look for the little diamonds. There are things that we overlook because we are too tired too hurt and too troubled to see. I have been under serious attacks since 2021. I have also brought trouble to myself. Tears every day. I lost my mum this June and I am still being accused of something involving the police and something I would never do. But I thank Jesus because in the middle of all of these trials, my sisters reunited. I broke through with my dad, I was saved from a diagnosis of cancer again, i kept my job. Jesus never left me, see little diamonds. I am still in a furnace, but I trust Jesus because He has mercy on me and He took my life and exchanged it for His own. I did not deserve that and I will not deserve what He will do next in my life. Satan is clearly throwing things in desperation in front of me, ranging from job to health to family. One after the other. If it was not for Jesus, I would have gone insane, but Jesus has reassured me, the trial is hard because the prize is great....my family and my salvation. So while it is hard, too hard I am reminded that I am Satan's enemy and I love that as Jesus will be bring me through and He will be glorified through me. I will stand for Jesus because He is worthy worthy worthy. Please do not give up. Praise Jesus and remember all He had done for you in the past and the life He gave for You. He truly is good and will bring You and me through these fires. Yes surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives. I am still waiting to be vindicated, but Jesus is so faithful, so I'll wait on Him. I pray You are strengthened to carry on the fight. Don't give up.

Are you punishing the Church because of what God has bestowed upon them. I don't think that Pastor Colon was intentionally shoving his family in your face to make you feel bad or sad. I am so sorry that you don't have family. Some can have been blessed to have a godly loving husband, wife, with children. Some are not. I personally don't have children nor husband, but have adopted many into my life young, old, broken, homeless, well-off and not. What really makes us family our love for the Lord. No matter what hand we are dealt in this life. Choices by free will or not. We have absolute, absolutely surety that no matter where we are, and what trials and hardships we are going through God will never leave us nor forsake us. Will be praying that the Lord supplies all your needs according to His will. Please try not to let your heart be hardened.

I do not understand the dislike of Gods word here. It’s not the only word preached I’m alone my husband passed 14 yrs ago. The enemy is whispering in your ear to leave the church and expressing distaste and accusation. I hear no falsehood against or neglect of people alone. Bitterness should never be our response.

The baby dove that i save by God's grace( Ephesians 2:8😊❤) in Christ , it had a wound in his wing either bit by animal or someone hit it down for it has a hole in its wound bloody in one of its wings. Good thing, i save it by God's grace( Ephesians 2;8😊❤) and cleaned its wound and watched how to rescue birds videos and bandage it and now slowly it got healed and hopefully it can survive. True, except for "And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation." (Revelation 13:7 NLT). And there are martyrs today, and as far as I can tell there have always been Christian martyrs in some nations who are beaten, imprisoned, tortured and/or killed. We are not promised that we will not be overcome in this world -- and we ARE promised tribulation -- but we are promised that He will never leave us. I do love Carter Conlon's sermons, but I'm kind of surprised he spoke as if such things never happen. It is interesting to note that those who are martyred because they refuse to deny Christ Jesus are rewarded in Heaven -- and with some other religions people believe to kill certain people is honorable and rewarded. We like in a tough world and it surely is not our home!
