Can i switch amp channels ... my amp use relay for this... bit i want to switch with the quad cortex midi

Yes that's what it's designed for :)

I am looking at buying a Pirate Midi to allow me to simultaneously switch the channels on a 5150III 50W (which has 5 pin midi) and a Ceriatone clone of a Friedman BH100 (which has a TRS latch style switch, as I understand it). I had understood that the Bridge 4 and 6 are advertised as being able to control channel switching on certain non-midi amps: "Switch inputs and outputs can be used to control your non-MIDI gear, like the auxilliary footswitch on a delay pedal, or the channel switching on many amplifiers." Is that right? Or do I need the CLiCK in addition to a Bridge 4 or 6? Thanks!

If the amp has MIDI, you don't need to worry about channel switching - that's all done over MIDI. However, if the amp isn't MIDI controlled, you need to check that voltage the switching jack is sending out. Plug a patch cable into it and use a multimeter to check the DC voltage on the cable. If it's above 3.3v, (5v or 9v+ etc) then the Flexiport on the BRIDGE can't do it, and the CLiCK is the answer. If it's 3.3v, then the BRIDGE can do the switching from the Flexiport. Cheers!

Just one is not enough. You guys need to make a version that has multiple outputs for multiple devices. I would also recommend a USB hub just for pedals that has a 9 V supply. Nobody’s making that.

There's plenty of those available. RJM Amp Gizmo. NUX PMS-2. Nobels MS-4. There are a few more.

@@Lavabug as far as I know, the best one is made by disaster area. That one covers the full spectrum with multiple outputs. Having just one knowing that people probably have more than one pedal that needs tap tempo takes up a port for one that could be for many. I have yet to see a guitar pedal board oriented USB hub though from anyone.

Could this be used to toggle a vertex boost on and off?
@PIRATEMIDIАй бұрын
It doesn't look like the vertex boost has an external switching jack?
@matthewcooke7182Ай бұрын
Right it’s an external expression to turn the boost all the way from 0db to I think 16db maybe

Do you think I could wire the relay to the on/off switch?
@PIRATEMIDIАй бұрын
You could do something like that with a lot of technical know-how and electronics skill, but you're better off finding a custom MIDI mod solution. The CLiCK isn't designed for modding pedals.
