What a great movie this was! Karl Urban nailed it - and was humble enough to agree never to remove the helmet to stay true to the character. And Olivia Thirlby just sizzled the screen whenever she appeared!

LOVED this film. I remember going to see it in the cinema on day of release in 2012, and wow it blew me away. At that point every "adult" film in the cinema was a 12A and "safe". The darkness and extreme violence in Dredd can, at the time, only be described as - refreshing. Rather than being gratuitous or over the top, the violence and gore simply added to the film and almost made it to an extent. Very simple formula, does as it says on the tin etc. but dear god, it does what it says so, so very, very well. Excellent film, massively underrated. Love the music as well.

This is an awesome track by The Midnight. Guitar solo is superb and the saxophone just behind. A complete immersion of retro 80’s wave synthesisers and electric drums with an awesome movie. This must tug at the strings of all of us who were the 80’s teens: surrounded by good vibes, positivity and the best movies and music on the planet.Forever may such hell raising tracks live on to pay such a fitting tribute. I’m blown away every time I tune into this band. Simply-the best!
