Your enthusiasm for this book is contagious. I made a reservation for it at the library. I'm third in line, which should give me time to catch up with other books I already have on loan. Will let you know what I've thought of it once I've read it. So far, I've listened to the audiobook of The Guest List, which I really enjoyed, and of The Paris Apartment, which I didn't care for much. She had also had a short story in the Marple book and if my memory serves well, it was one of the twelve stories which I enjoyed most.

Yes please let me know what you think once you read it. I'm glad you could feel how much I enjoyed The Midnight Feast :) I think rather I enjoy a book or not I love seeing others enjoy something. I LOVED the guest list, such good atmosphere. I also didn't love the paris apartment but it's one I want to try again. Sounds like we both like Lucy Foley.

@@ryreads Also, since I listened to both of those Lucy Foley novels in audiobook form, I’d like to eventually revisit The Guest List in its printed form as I think it’d be nice to read it again and focus on all of the little hints that are sprinkled throughout the book leading to the denouement.

@@smileycindy I think that sounds like a very fun idea, its been years since I read that (I read it when it came out) and tbh I'm not sure I remember who did it lol

Just finishing this today. Giving it 4.5 stars. I loved The Guest List and Paris Apartment. DNF'd The Hunting Party. Midnight Feast was a wild ride and the twists were nicely timed and kept me turning pages. I will definitely read this author again.

Again! You have convinced me! Putting it on the TBR list! I did enjoy the Paris Apartment, but I think I will re-read to see how it stand against other thrillers I have read! Another great video!

Thank you so much!!! I hope you enjoy it :) the Paris Apartment is one I would like to reread! Even knowing the ending.

Have you read many other "house/ apartments" slightly closed room thrillers? I absolutely love them, idk y but the Paris Apt, didn't live up to others. That's why I'd like to revisit just in case I wasn't fully immersed the 1st. time. I have some recs if you need some.

@@michaelmyerslovesbooks I have read The New Couple in 5B but I would love to now more recs please!!!

@ryreads ooooh I'll have to find the vid you have that talks about it? I haven't read it yet, but it's on my list. One of the 1st few I've read was in 18', Her Every Fear by Peter Swanson, set in an apt complex, and The Death of Mrs Westaway, creepy house, by Ruth Ware. Then I think I read Lock Every Door in 19' by Sager, apt complex and Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, nanny, creepy house. By this point I was obsessed. I tend to pick up everything that has some sort of "hired person coming to work in the house" nanny, cleaner, nurse...

I can't wait for this one. I quite like this author, although I felt The Guest List and The Hunting Party were similar to each other and done before by others. I still enjoyed them. I really liked The Paris Apartment; that was a fiver for me, so I'm looking forward to this one.

I just finished it. Oh my God it was absolute perfection. I am obsessed!!! I hope more people read this and love it. I'm kind of surprised by the low average rating of 3.79. I loved every single minute of it.

I enjoyed The Guest List & The Paris Apartment(both 4.5 stars), but The Hunting Party was just OK(3.0) I'm looking forward to this new book of hers!

I feel the exact same way about the Paris Apartment. I really enjoyed the Guest List and was really excited for it, but it was a bit of a letdown. But honestly now I might give it another chance. I'm also going to check out the Hunting Party.
