These dudes are in 10 different bands. Reminds me of the school musicians who would play with anyone, all they wanted to do was make music. Keep it going Ali and Younge

Wow...transported me to the silky smooth sounds of the Blaxploitation films of the 70s...if you close your eyes, you'd almost expect Curtis Mayfield or Donny Hathaway to perform vocals to accompany this fine music.... ...and then the singers come in...WOW...Angela Munoz blew me away with that voice of hers...YOU GO, GIRL!!! NPR...TINY DESK...once again, your sound engineering is on POINT! Thanks for another great post!

He plays probably what he has ever wanted to play. The counterpart of sampling is the little frustration you get listening to so much dope music. Even if it makes you feel good you also take your limitations right in face. When it pushes you to take a step like this, that's a win-win. Their music is pure dope and matches their band name 200%

Thank you NPR/TDC! At first, I could appreciate the talent of this group, but it wasn't for me. Made it through the whole show as I felt obligated to respect these fine ladies and gents, at minimum. Read some comments, hung out a bit, grabbed a coffee... Figured I should replay one more time. Now.can't.stop.replaying. Cheers!
