Wow...transported me to the silky smooth sounds of the Blaxploitation films of the 70s...if you close your eyes, you'd almost expect Curtis Mayfield or Donny Hathaway to perform vocals to accompany this fine music.... ...and then the singers come in...WOW...Angela Munoz blew me away with that voice of hers...YOU GO, GIRL!!! He plays probably what he has ever wanted to play. The counterpart of sampling is the little frustration you get listening to so much dope music. Even if it makes you feel good you also take your limitations right in face. When it pushes you to take a step like this, that's a win-win. Their music is pure dope and matches their band name 200%

I love every moment indeed. This is that stillness and quiet somber imaginative music that takes you into a great slumber. Or a Saturday kickback. That young lady is awesome. That band is spectacular.

Ali the bass player looks like someone who just learned the bass but is surprisingly killing it hard. Seriously his hand position and how he looks at his hands make him look like a beginner but the playing itself is on point.

pjselby it’s a old 50s or 60s Fender Precision Bass, the purple paint job is almost definitely a refinish though.
