I've been trying to get my mom who is in her 70s to listen to my favorite band ever here with this song. It's bizarre to me that most of the people I know who are 35 and older don't like this music, or are at best indifferent to it. This music is tailor made for their generation! They should feel younger and have happy memories come to mind, but no instead they reply that I should listen to their garbage they hear on the pop radio stations. PFFFFFT! NAW!

This song transports my soul to another place and another time... Long in the past, of both fond and sad memories at the same time... Maybe said memory is when I saw and met my first girlfriend back in 2005 and being completely fallen for her, or when I graduated from college and how proud I was, or when a close friend of mine died in a tragic traffic accident, or when I held and ran with my dog on a beach for the first time, or how I've lost contact from so many friends I had back in the day due to growing up and adulthood.. All those memories from past experiences just crash into one another in my head once this song starts... It's just raw emotion that comes out from me and I love that because of what the song produces within me. Hope I'm not alone on this. Amazing song, one of my favorites from them!

You guys are a freakin' serious band, you have perfect melodic phrases and great lyrical hooks, I mean who could ever forget "everything looks clear in the reeearview mirrooor"? That shit stays there for ever, keeps looping in your head and with every loop brings about some indefinite indistinguishable vague good good something, to be more exact something between a feeling and an emotion, a medium shutter speed glimpse of summer sun ray warmth through a breezy tree and it's gone kind of something, or a glance at the rear view mirror in a top down Eldorado, remembering with joy and a little sadeness but firmly moving forwards. Looking down the road you're trying to figure things out, but not trying too hard, we'll know better when we're older.
