i can't wait for rebirth. i hope it will be psychological horror, where the game makes us question nearly everything that we come across, as if the environment itself is hunting you. I also agree with the point you made at 2:38, imagine hearing screams and shrills in the background with scraping noises, that would definitely add to the scariness.

HIII!!! Just wanna say as someone has been into horror, not just on Roblox forever, none of the points you made in the video are 'necessary'. Dark and moody isn't scary, its just annoying. The Mimic at heart is a story driven horror action game, and that is the direction they are going towards. For them to really make The Mimic scary I think they should create book 4 or book 3 in a Resident Evil style, because that would really fit The Mimic. Making it survival horror with recourse management and music that revolves around the context of what the player is doing, combined with the already unique and set in stone style of the Mimic could change it forever from the 'little kid' horror its known as today.

as a lifelong horror fan I'm here to say no game in roblox can "change the horror genre". The Mimic is bland, uninspired, and forgettable, sure its really well made for a roblox game but as a horror game its generic and un-scary
