I agree! Everything here in the song is spot on to how I imagined everything. Perhaps the only difference is that I imagined more in the real world of how those evil entities were controlling his mind to do the stuff that causes the trial and then he is sent completely into his mind (perhaps then is flashbacks to before the trial) after showing the infirmary he is sent to. Nonetheless this animation is very well done and fits the song and it's imagery perfectly!

@Maggotier-t5o3 ай бұрын
Honestly my favorite thing is if you watch it and pause a bunch of times during the chaotic parts. You’ll slow down and see things like the actual distress on the guy’s face in some scenes, be able to actually see what’s happening in the flashing frames, see the guy looking&reaching out at us, see what the demons are doing, see them grinning at us as they mess with someone’s mind, see other recurring people behind the judge, and lastly, see that the butterfly at the end that the guy lets go of has the same flashing colors as his mind did before that. Even the smear frames look natural in this style of animation, it’s like every single frame was intended for you to study it intently like its own individual art piece. Beautiful.

The sequence from 2:26 to 2:29 is my favorite. Not enough people talking about that. It's already masterfully animated, but the glare added to Grim's eyes makes the motion that much more fluid and believable. Crazy. Instantly one of my favorite animations ever. The way you make it hard to focus on one thing for certain sections and the way you use the stiller scenes creates a perfectly confusing but amazing experience. That part is incredible, for real i just feel this music and this animation. I feel everything of it, the demon that appear is similarly of the twisted crap my mind makes up sometimes rven tho i only want peace. That part when it transforms into the dude and mocks him is straight up how my mind does it to me, it makes a scarecrown of myself and paint it like a really bad person. Also i simply love how in that part all of it takes part in his neurons, like it's all in his mind. Also how the face of the demon becomes twisted when saying "inside my mind" is just super interesting.
