MJ and Scottie lied for years claiming they'd never play on a super team. This was their dig at LeBron. The Bulls team asked mgmt to get Rodman, the league's rebound leader. Super teams are ones that have 3 elite NBA stars and include: [Kareem, Magic, and Worthy], [Bird, Parish, and McHale], [MJ, Pippen, and Rodman] and [KD, Steph, and Klay]. Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Bird, Parish, McHale, MJ, and Pippen are on the NBA's 50 GOAT list solidifying their elite star status. Rodman was the NBA's 7x rebound champ, 2x Defensive Player of the Year, and 7x All Defensive 1st team. KD, Steph, and Klay at the time were 3 of the top 5 shooters in the NBA. MJ and Scottie claimed LeBron played on a super team which is a lie. MJ's Bulls were favored in 5 of their 6 finals thus it's not surprising they never played a game 7. MJ's last 3 rings were won on a super team. LeBron never played on a super team. His teams were underdogs the majority of the time. When he played in Miami with Dywane Wade and Chris Bosh. Dwyane was in the top 5 at his position. Bosh wasn't in the top 10 at his. Their Finals team was favored to win 50% of their games and did. LeBron not Wade or Bosh was the Finals MVP for their finals wins. LeBron won Rookie of the Yr straight from HS. Was the 1st to do so and is only 1 of 2 (Amare Stoudamire) to ever do so. He and the underdog Cavs defeated the reigning NBA champ Warriors who that season had set the current NBA wins record of 73-9. His Cavs ring brought to Cleveland it's first championship in its 53 yrs of existence. He is the only player in NBA history to win Finals MVP with 3 separate clubs. He never played on a super team. If you remove MJ's rings on a super team, LeBron has 4 Finals MVPs and 4 NBA MVPs. MJ would have 3 Finals MVPs and 5 NBA MVPs. LeBron has better numbers for his 20 yrs career vs MJ's 15 both playoff and season average stats for the majority of the categories. MJ never won a win w/o Pippen. LeBron won rings with 3 different clubs and numerous personnel.
