I like his no excuse mentality. It’s true. Build your system. Backtest, improve. Repeat. Until it sustains profits. I cant tell you how much time . Effort , stress, sleepless nights it took and takes to build and reach your goal. It’s hard… but you are human. This is one thing that takes creativity and attention to detail. This take WORK!!! This is a big boys game

The breakdown of priorities when you have a family … its a juggling game, and can be so tough because if you have kids, that breakdown of priorities is always changing! For myself, trading has had to be the last priority many days, but as soon as a window opens up, it then can be chosen as a priority - in that free window, which could be an hour, five minutes, maybe, on a lucky weekend, a whole Sunday…. Many days, there is NO window. It definitely is a challenge to trade and be successful in a two parent family, but what needs to be addressed is that single dads and moms have an even bigger struggle! It’s possible to trade and be successful but it takes a huge amount of time management, being flexible with priorities and being able to have sniper focus in that window of time you get to trade. KZbin is filled with lots of young, single successful traders, but it would be so great to see more of this - more traders who have families, traders who are single parents, to hear how they juggle trading and are successful. Thank you, Etienne!

Very kind comment. And I agree = it is a FUN challenge to juggle kids,wife,bills,health,money - all the things. But it is possible! :)

Very true, but you can switch to daily candle sticks, it closes at the end of the day, and I suppose you can spare some minutes to check a couple of currency pairs after you must have developed a back tested strategy that gives you an edge, try this and you will see that after some time you effortlessly do it and it becomes part of you, that is if you eventually have a strong passion for it. I hope this helps, I am a man with family too. Thanks 🙏 for the opportunity. Have a lovely day.

Spot on Jerremy.....all of us typically make trading harder than it needs to be.....I'm guilty of it often times as well. Since we can never know for sure what will happen next, we just need to embrace the uncertainty, position size properly and use realistic stops......oh and try like hell to hang on to the winners!

This is the 2nd guest that I've seen who uses a smaller time frame below a 5min chart to enter a trade. From practice and studying charts, I can "afford" to lose on a smaller time frame. If I'm right and let the trade run, the winner can make up for the smaller losses.

Great interview Etienne! Jeremy makes trading sounds so easy. Yes, it will eventually become easy after you perfects your self-develop trading edge and when you stop making all the expensive mistakes. If you can endure the painful period of drawdown which happen to beginner trader, chances of you seeing the beauty side of it is unquestionably possible. Cheers!

That's very true, if you can endure the painful period of drawdown for beginners. I think a lot of people who would have made it big in trading didn't endure long enough to read the huge unimaginable benefits of the market. I strongly agree with you 💯. Thanks 🙏.

USDCAD is a bad pair to trade every day in my opinion if you're only going to focus on one pair. EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPUSD, and GBP or USD against the Yen, or XAUUSD, US30, NAS100 or SP500. Again, if you're only going to focus on one Forex pair.

Hey Everyone, just started a demo account 2 weeks ago and loving it! Slowly learning the market and myself at 48 y/o. I broke my back firefighting in 2010 and have been out ever since. I get the same feeling I had when I began my firefighting career and I’m excited for the opportunity to give my remaining family an absolute comfortable life style they had before I went out. My dream is to open a drug outreach in my late daughter’s name. Forever 24 9/23/21.

@@DesireToTRADE thank you, I think through this demo account, I need to work more on my psychology, holding trades and letting go of bad ones. Working more on my discipline. I have thousands of questions, but I believe you had a gentleman on your podcast that said “ swim in the ocean, just don’t drown. I’m learning GBP/USD not that I know if it’s good or not, but I’m sure if I learn it, I could get to know how the market works over time. Thank You Blessings & Respect, Keith

I like what he said, 90%of Millionaires are made in Real Estate and 100% of Billionaires are made in the stock market. Trivia question, HOW can you become a billionaire in the stock market in less than 3 or 5 years without being a millionaire necessarily??? 😉
@usa4ever711 Жыл бұрын
OK, since there are no takers about this question, the answer is... by starting a business, which, after and if it becomes successful, you offer the shares in the stock market! 😄
