It lurks only in caves, but that thing stalked me in broad daylight and proceeded to chase me around my haphazardly made buildings. The horrible thing was, when I was frantically hitting it with a potato (out of pure fear and one tap away from my sword) whilst trapped in my library, it proceeded to lift me up cut scene style and devour me. The more terrifying thing was that it took my only enchanted pickaxe and my recently harvested potatoes.

Awesome video, we really appreciate you diving into the in-depth behavior of the Cave Dweller's mind! It did seem to be busy hiding from you in your cave journey though! :D Addressing some stuff in the video; the moth can be picked up by interacting with it, and it will in fact lead you to the closest dwelling, which you can eradicate to fend off the Cave Dweller in a radius. Additionally, the Cave Dweller is able to learn a lot of different things, including breaking blocks to get to the player! We did notice a few new issues have appeared with the latest Minecraft update (like the awkwardly mispositioned kill animation) so we're looking into those asap! Happy spelunking. :)

Xp, could you make the Cave Dweller appear more often? From what I've seen, as soon as you enter a cave he appears to observe you almost immediately and then rarely appears again.

Invisibility potions keep it from spawning/finding you! Just stay armorless. Edit: in my survival world it spawns but it doesn’t seem to see you still. Music and everything plays but nothing happens and it despawns.

It only shows cordinates in creative, in survival it sticks on a wall shows you where the dweller cave is, after finding destroy it. BTW mod still work if you add mods

Who wants to bet the og creator wasn't involved in this versions creation? Seriously waddles before you take anyone's word at face value make sure you contact gargin to confirm if he was actually involved in its creation especially since this mod is behind a pay wall. Lot of the other cave dweller mods were/are bootleg versions made by people to milk off the success of the og version sadly resulting in the og mod getting buried under the fake ones some did use the og's files without permission and credit
