If you want to find diamonds look in big water pools in Y - 50 or - 40 that's where bigger veins of diamonds spawn

@MxZ Anytime, also same with lava pools and the Nether lava, you need fire resistance to swim in the lava to find ancient debris and check at -15 or below if you want to find debris, to get fire resistance you can make it yourself or trade with piglins with gold, wear gold if you don't want to die to them.
