Dude, the eye relief is like 3 inches on that optic (been running mine for 3 or 4 years now) If you are getting bit by it, you are doing something wrong.

I was confused as well. I watched the C-DOES video where he places it at various distances along the pic rail and off center angles and it looked very usable for 3x.

Dude I love how you just come out of the gate swinging. Super honest. I felt the same way about the 3x. I've shot mine pretty repeatably at 830 yards, but I have great data. Most people don't, and you can't spot misses at that distance with 3x and small bullets. You had some great commentary on this, very entertaining

Thanks for the video but theres definitely some oddities in your video. Id never in a million years put this optic on a 308, let alone a FAL. I agree the optic shines on an AR. My biggest issue is unless youre running a shorty, that 3x hits its max range long before the rifle does. LPVOs are lacking primarily in durability as far as Im concerned. I liked my 3x, but Im more interested in the extra bit of magnification from the 5x, with the heromod red dot moint for my 16 inch

@AlaskanFrontier1Ай бұрын
@@Hillykarma well, I can see what you mean, but to be fair the 3x prism is a decent choice for a battle rifle tbh. Just the eye relief isn’t the best on this particular optic. Thanks for the feedback tho

These are really for a certain buyer. The stigmatism guys. It's the only reason I bout a prism scope. However it's the vortex 5x's. It is still all the things you said about this one problematically. But, it does remedy the solar flare I see in other red dots. EXCEPT my Burris dot. For some reason the dot is clean in it.

Good review. Honest review I’m retired now, but I don’t believe this would be a good optic for the everyday Leo. With the things you pointed out getting on target would take a lot of training. to be honest I never used one of them. We mostly used vortex red dots quick and easy accurate out to 100 yards or more. I’m probably comparing Apple to oranges. I guess if you’re willing to put in the time to master this optic, I’m sure it would be good just my opinion.

Im confused. whats your complaint? You bought for the wrong purpose, eye relief, can't cqb with it? All common sense things surrounding fixed 3x's? And then you said something about mounting a reddot towards the rear unless you want a magnifier? Opinion discredited lol

the title is confusing. i thought you were going to comment on the mini acog mounting system that the PA micro prisms use. but it seems your simply calling the PA 3x micro prism a " mini acog" which .. idk w/e but the fact that the optic literally uses the mini acog mountig footprint makes one think thats what your refering to. also why would you suggest is sucks when your review was mostly positive( aside from up close/ eye relief)
